Permanent Makeup, also called PMU, Cosmetic Tattooing, Semi-permanent Makeup and more, is the process of implanting pigment into the dermal layer of the skin to resemble the appearance of makeup.
After your Permanent Makeup procedure (and 6 week perfecting session), you can expect your makeup to last anywhere from 2-5 years, or more. How long it lasts is individual and depends on several factors including, but not limited to, medical conditions, medication, topical and anti-aging products, sun exposure and more. The better you care for your PMU, the longer it will last before needing a color boost.
